MY WONDERFUL SWAP PACKAGE FROM SHEILA!!!

  It has been like forever since I have been on my blog. it just took a little longer to recuperate this time. It has been so busy. My son got married and I am so happy. It was a beautiful wedding. I am sure glad that it is over with. (A lot of work involved and not enough time!) I want to show you girls what Sweet Sheila from "SEASONS OF THY HEART" sent me. She was my partner in Amy's swap over at " BUMBLE BEE COTTAGE." They are both just sweethearts. This swap was THE GREAT PUMPKIN SWAP" and it was a great one, believe me. Look at all the beautiful things she sent me...I felt like queen. Some of the pics are a little dark...(I am thinking one of my grandkids dropped the camera)

                                 Aren' these just beautiful?  Sheila is just so talented, and I hope someday I have her again for a swap partner. She is just the sweetest person. Thank you so much Sheila. And a big thank you to Amy for hosting it.                                                  

OFF I GO AGAIN!

  I have been such a bad blogger this summer. I haven't really been feeling all that well, and now I have to have surgery this Wednesday. It is an ongoing thing, but someday things will get better. I just finished up a couple of swaps and got them ready to mail in the a.m., so that is alot off my mind. I want you all to know how much I enjoy reading your blogs, and I think you are all wonderful. Till I return, have a glorious and fun filled week.   Hugs!!!

MY GOODIES FROM "SEASONS OF FRIENDSHIP SWAP"

Amy, over at BUMBLE BEE LANE hosted a wonderful friendship swap recently, and we were to choose which season was our favorite. I chose fall, and had Tamera from "COUNTRY AT HEART" as my swap partner.  I received a beautiful Fannie Fall doll that she made. It is so adorable.

She sent me a microwave bag for taters and corn that she made. I was really  impressed with it. I can't wait to try it out. She also made a scissor holder out of a potholder and included a pair of scissors.

I got a lovely sheep ornament, a pretty dish towel she made, a fall scented candle in spice,  a leaf candy dish which included cinnamon/maple syrup cookie tarts that Tamera made. They smell heavenly. She has spoiled me with all the goodies.Thank you so much Tamera. I love everything and I have also made a friend for life. Thank you Amy for having such a wonderful swap!

MY SUMMERTIME FRIENDSHIP SWAP FROM JEN!

I was in Tricia's (HILLCREST HOME PRIMS) friendship swap. Today I received my package from Jen W. Look at all the goodies I received. There was handmade soap and washcloth,a windchime, glass flowers...a little birdhouse...

I got gardening glovesand a spade, some seeds to plant Books, which I love.teacup and teabags

I got this little kitty, room spray a wonderful smelling candle, and a pretty pinkeep.Thank you Jen, I loved everything you sent me. I will put everything to good use. Thank you Tricia for hosting this swap. It was fun!

MY WONDERFUL SWAP PACKAGE

I  recently joined in the Secret Sister Swap over at Tammy's at  A PRIMITIVE PLACE. She always has the greatest swaps. (All you girls do) Kathy,from BITTERSWEET FARM  was my secret sister, and WOW... did she spoil me. Thank you Kathy so much. I loved and adored everything. I can't wait to arrange everything and put my beautiful items out. Again, Thank you so much!!!  I received a beautiful table runner and a pocket pot holder, Love the colors. A very pretty flower stem, and look how cute the bees and flowers are. I received a beautiful piece of pottery with a bee skep on it. Kathy also sent me this adorable little dolly named ISABELLE MARIE! Isn't she sweet? I love it all!

I love swaps.....

But have any of you ever had it tucked where the sun don't shine? I always had the best swap partners,and I really enjoy getting my swap packages together. But i think I have litterly had it tucked this time. I was in a swap at "A SWAP FOR ALL SEASONS"  for a Mother's Day Swap. We were to have sent a vintage brooch, with packaging, and I did that. I had a beautiful box, and a wonderful brooch that was my G.Grandmothers. Thought the lady would really appreciate it. Long story short...it was a tucked swap. I am debating on listing these peoples names that do this...it is just wrong, and so rude, The other one was due a month ago, and still nothing. I spent alot of time on this one too. Think I should list their  name and blog?  They can't even answer an email. Such a sad situation.

MOTNER'S DAY

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I hope you all had a wonderful MOTHER'S Day. Mine Was wonderful. Saturday was not so good... I was checking my bank statement and I had become a victim of Identity theft, big time!!! This happened 300 miles from here in N.J. The bank said they will take care of everything for us. They changed our account immediately, and said it will take 10 to 15 days for fraud dept.to take care of it. Someone just walked into a branch office and cleaned us out. How, with no i.d. or else they must have made a good one to get away with it. I feel so victimized and used. So please everyone, check your statement everyday and for a few dollars a month, get identity theft protection. I wish I would have had it last week! I do now. Don't think it can't happen to you, because it can!!! I am going to go out and clean the pool today and get it ready. Looks like we might be getting some nice weather for once. APOLOGY

 I want to thank everyone for the emails while I have been sick and in the hospital for surgery. Still not up to par, and I apologize for not getting back to everyone yet. Things are not going real well. Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter. Mine was wonderful!!! The kids have all left, hubby left for Omaha and then on to Portland,Ore. Two of my grandaughters have stayed behind with me tonight, so I must get busy and have playtime with them. Have a great night and many wonderful dreams.

Beautiful Swap Gifts From Vicky!

I received such beautiful gifts from Vicky over at  "Vicky's Art." I was in a swap of Tammy's, "So Me, So You."It was so nice getting to know Vicky and her sweet family. I am so sorry for posting this so late, but I have been really ill and had surgery a little over a week ago, and I'm not doing too well. Vicky does such exceptional work , and it is so beautiful. This picture does not do justice to her painting. The sweet little bunny in the watering sprinkler is so adorable. And look at all the goodies that were in the flower pot. Can't wait to get some nice weather.
