Where does the time go?

Gosh, I can't believe I haven't wrote anything for so long. I have been busy with doctors etc. the last couple of weeks, and then the holidays. And my son had an accident...just not enough time in the day. I keep waiting for the snow so I can get in the mood to decorate. I did manage to get alot of shopping done, of course that is one of my favorite hobbies. Thanks to everyone who has left a comment. I really appreciate you all. I love to read your blogs and I do read them every chance I get. I am really addicted to the blogs now. All I gotta do is learn some more on how to do mine. Gotta get busy, so later....

TIME TO GET A MOVE ON.....

Gosh, I can't believe I am so far behind in everything. And then the beautiful weather we are having here in W.Pa. It was an unbelievable 72 here today, just really gorgeous. I did manage to get some more things done outside. Another one on the way tommorrow, but I bet it won't be long before the snow flies. I think I have spent more time with the doctors and being in the hospital thaan with my family lately. I sure am hoping for some good results soon. I am really anticipating Thanksgiving. I can't wait to start cooking, something I love to do. And then the biggie, Christmas, all kinds of good baking and decorating. I have already started planning my cookies etc. to bake, even got some shopping done. I am impressed with myself, to say the least. I am working on a couple of swaps right now and they are coming along good. I am really enjoying them. I have some pictures I have to get around to posting about some of my swaps and a couple of giveaways I won. It was just like Christmas. I guess I am still a kid a heart. I was just really thrilled with everything and just kept showing my kids and grandkids till I think they wanted to lock me in the closet. I will try and post the pics this week, if it is the last thing I do. I just really want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Well, it is time to go off to dreamland for now....till later! Hugs!

IT HAS BEEN A ROUGH 2 WEEKS...

I sure hope things get back to normal soon. I have had my surgery for the second time and it did not go any better than the first. So I will know Thursday what is going on with that. The weather has been so nice the last couple of days, a bit chilly, but it is Fall. I sure dread the winter coming. The old flu bug has hit our area pretty hard this week and they are talking about closing the schools for a week, as there are so many out. I am going out junkin tomorrow for awhile if I can get around on these crutches. What a pain. I won a couple of giveaways and I still have not posted pics of them. They were also fabulous and I promise to post in a couple of days. It has been hard to get things done with a cast on and it just really stinks. Got some new pics of my Grandkids so I will put a couple on. My daughter downloaded these, otherwise I wouldn'thave them.

My friend the bear has not been here since Saturday, but the neighbor saw three little cubs and the Mama up the road yesterday. We have an awful lot of them aroung here. I got some great stories about them I will have to tell you sometime. I am slowly catching on to this, thank heavens. I have entered several giveaways and joined two swaps. It is so much fun. There are so many great people out there and you are all so nice. I love reading the blogs. I actually spend more time than I should, but hubby drives truck and I don't see him all week usually...so....I am either on here or doing some crafts or prims(after I do my cleaning...yeah, right! )

This is my daughter Erika ,and Morgan. Things got a little hectic before he was born and she had to go into surgery for c-section. All are doing well now. He was born on 9/18. I have been pretty busy since then. We have been waiting on the test results for my hubby, and it has been nerve racking. (found cancer during routine colonoscopy) He had surgery and they got it all. I thank God everyday he had the routine test. It saved his life. The results came back yesterday and there is no sign of it! Whew... what a relief!!! Now it is my turn again. I had skin grafts a couple of weeks ago and the darn things didn't take. First time in 8 years. I am gouing back in Monday to have them redone. I sure don't look forward to it.
