IT SURE IS A HOT ONE!!!

It  is like forever since I have been here. . But I did read the blogs, and everyone is so busy with summer. It seems everyone one is "cooking" in this heatwave. I had to put my surgery off till the 4th of June, but it is finally done, and I am so glad it is done. Like they say, no pain, no gain!
This poor little Hummingbird was in the gazebo, and couldn't get out. He was so exhausted by the time I found her, she let me pick her up. That was a moment that will probably never happen again. Isn't she beautiful?

I was in several swaps, and they were such fun. I am so sorry for not getting these posted sooner, but just couldn't do it. First was Wendy's (RAVENWOOD WHIMZIES) Bug Swap, and then Val's (YORKIE'S PRIMITIVES) Summer Swap. I had Dorothy from PAW'S FOR STITCHIN as my partner for both swaps. She sent both together, so I don't know what was for which swap, But I loved everything. She sure spoiled me.
There were a pair of lovely Ladybugs, and a little ladybug. Two very summery dish towels...they are so cute. A Bumbl Bee tote, a dragonfly, a watermelon slice, a Bee pattern, a tablet, and a beautiful watermelon mat. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much Dorothy, I loved everything, and thank you Wendy and Val for the great swaps!

The Lord blesses us with a special moment like this one ~ even though it was hot, she was tired, she must have felt secure and warmed by your special heart!

Blessings,

The beauty lies in the attention to detail. So much effort involved in such a project. It is indeed a beautiful work. Job well done.
